I have a home!
So, last week me and Sofia finally moved into our new apartment. This is the reason of the serious lack of updates, as we have been busy putting together IKEA furniture, drilling holes in walls, painting walls, etc, etc.
You never quite realize how much stuff you own until you move out of your parents house and get your own place. It is almost obscene, I’ve had to throw away, sell, and leave so much random shit behind to even fit into the three room apartment that I now call my home. Us lucky ones born in the “right” part of the world really have our own kinds of problems.
Anyway, I just got to Heathrow airport, and I am waiting for my flight to Denver, CO. Going to spend two weeks training park, shooting with Oakley, and doing the first stop of the AST Dew Tour in Breckenridge. I feel really motivated to get on my skis and get some real skiing, I’ve only been doing city comps all fall, so some extra room to make actual turns will be welcome.
