Rest in peace Shane McConkey

As you all probably have heard by this time, freeskiing legend Shane McConkey died yesterday in Italy while filming ski Base jumping. When the news hit me I felt so empty, I can’t put words on it. No other skier ever meant as much to me as Shane, as he was the one that got me into this sport in the first place. I remember watching ski movies when I was in 5th grade, and Shane’s parts were always my favorite, inspiring me to go out and do the same thing.
Shane, you will always be missed.
