going back

hello from Kuala Lumpur international airport.

me and Sofia have an 8 hour layover here, so right now we’re just trying to stay awake for as long as possible to get back in scando time.

these last 7 weeks passed just way too quickly, as usual when on vacations. even though its sad to go back home, this trip was by far the best one I’ve ever been on. I got to surf the biggest, fastest, and longest waves of my life, see new places, dive with tropical fish, play with monkeys and connect with the local people of indonesia. I strongly recommend anyone who hasnt been there to go as soon as possible, it’s an amazing place with beautiful people and cultures.

I’m really looking forward to get back home though, to see friends and go fishing again. start planning ski trips, starting to get that urge back…where to go? Im thinking norway first, then New Zeeland in late august.

see you next year, Bali.

DSC_0018post surf guitar and tea session at our home in kuta, Berlian Inn.

stay tuned

  1. I’m actually a Balinese prince. I’m sure you heard all about me when you were over there.

  2. This is a super cool blog, a guitarplayer that can ski and likes to fish, or is it a fisherman that plays guitar and likes to ski or maybe a skier that fish and likes to play guitar?
It is confusing to the level of being totally confusing… but never mind; it is super cool no matter what it is.
